fictosexual.neocities.org was created by me, Kat. I'm a visual artist who has identified as fictosexual for around six years, but known about my feelings since I was old enough to have my first crush. I've been on Neocities since 2020, and as such some of the content on this site used to be on my personal homepage. I switched to a standalone site once I got Neocities Supporter, and I think this site is a better, more complete place for it.
I have always been frustrated with the lack of comprehensive writing and visibility for fictosexual and 2DL individuals, and even moreso by the heavy stigma and shame that permeates so much of our collective reality. My main goal when I write about fictosexuality is to show others that they are not alone, and to speak to the thoughts that many fict and 2DL people have, but cannot voice publicly. I refuse to be spoken over and silenced like many of my friends and peers have been in the past.
I'm trying as hard as I can to make fictosexual.neocities.org into the comprehensive and relevant fictosexuality resource that the community deserves. While your first exposure to the concept of 2D love/fictosexuality might have been presented through a more jocular lens, our feelings and identity are sincerely held, and an earnest part of our lives.
